Inarmorata

Abbadane, preferably called Abbi, is the black sheep of her magical family. For generations, the women have been known to be good in their powers thanks to their late matriarch, Elvira.

However, Abbi doesn't hold the same "white" powers her mother and grandmother do. She fears that she has been terribly cursed by her genetics and vows to gain control of her powers by staving far from her family.

She enrolls herself into the Robichaux Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies and finds herself on an unauthorized day trip with her new head mistresses. When she arrives at their assigned meeting that remains classified to Abbi, she finds herself enveloped in strange goings on.

Things only get stranger upon meeting the Hawthorne School's prized pupil, Michael.
