He tilted my chin to face him again and he whispered. "Say it, darling." "What?" I whimpered out. "I am yours and you are mine." He stroked my cheek with his thumb. He brought his lips to the base of my jaw and started kissing down. "I-I am yours." I was breathing heavily. "And you are mine." Damien came back to my face, smiled, and kissed my lips again. *** Naya Belle Gardner has been through a lot. In less than a year she lost her entire family and was sent away to a rehabilitation center. After being cooped up in there, she was just released. She decides she should get far away from there and moves back to New York. She wants a new life. Her plan was to stay in her small apartment, find a job, and hopefully make enough money for a good living. However, that doesn't go as planned once she meets him. Damien Amante is the local gang leader of the Scarlet Vipers. He's mean, rude, and doesn't care about anyone else's feelings. Before quite literally running into the new girl in town, he only lived life for sex and fights. Once he met her, though, that all changed. It seemed like the universe wanted them to end up together, even after trying to push her away with the multiple rude comments. Will Naya let Damien treat her like that? How will she deal with her past coming back to haunt her? To what extent will he go to protect her? This isn't a story about finding love.
