Blythe Lovelace exists. He doesn't do much else. He's just there, living with his mom and brothers. But when family drama unfolds, and his older brother leaves him to go off to college, Blythe faces the consequences of everyone else's actions. His mother sends him off to a boys home for the summer, and Blythe doesn't expect much until he actually gets there, and he realizes that maybe his life is worth living and maybe, just maybe, he'll get a family of his own.
