Can't really judge that girl because you don't know the full story You know THAT GIRL you pass by in the hallway? She has a smile on her face, always hanging out with her small group of friends, who always raising her hand in class, has good grades . You and your friends call her a try hard. Well that's the same girl who's mom just died ,who's father is never home and only gives them money, she has to sacrifice her social life to look after her 2 eight year old brothers and her five year old sister , she putts them on and off the bus has to help with there homework ,cook them dinner, get them ready for bed and only then get to do her homework she ends up going to sleep at 12 wake up do it all over again ,and still manages to have friends that stick by her side ,to get good grades because she needs a scholarship to get to a good college that's close to home so she could still look after her siblings .She cried herself to sleep at night because of The names people call her behind her back, in the hallways ,she hears it in class they call her a try hard, nerd geek a loser etc. All while she's trying to provide for her family , so she can get into a good college that's close to home so she can still look after her siblings ,and trying to make her dead mom proud ....think twice before you judge that girl

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
