"Let them roam in the dark of the midnight, the moon's glow casting hues of pearl on their faces." Our Emotions and Characteristics roam the streets at a specific hour at night, searching for people to affect. Love's touch sparks affection, Hate's smile heats growing anger... But what if the perceptions of these emotions can be turned at an angle? From horned beasts to beautiful fairies, a series of short fantasy stories tell the tales of the Emotions and Characteristics that we have never known about... Through the veil of what humans see everyday, who could they be? (Refer back to from main story: Dark Bright Lights)

*COVER ART IS MY OWN ORIGINAL WORK* In this portfolio of short stories, I have 22 works, 63 pages, and 19,204 words. My stories are organized by emotional theme, beginning with one story about emotion in general, and then moving through stories expressing distractedness, frustration, argument, love, fear, grief, sadness, humor, innocence, and self-love. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share. I hope you enjoy reading these snapshots of the human experience as much as I did creating them.
