He chuckled darkly as he strode towards me like a hungry predator, waiting for the right time to pounce on its prey. A shiny, silver dagger clenched in his sweaty palms. I froze, strands of hair shooting up behind my neck as I slowly backed away - even though I knew, as always, it wouldn't be much help anyway.
"You really shouldn't be messing with items that aren't yours, whore. Especially when it's something that isn't for you to learn yet, isn't that right?"
I saw my fucking name there though.
"I said, isn't that right?!" He shouted, anger burning through his eyes. My back hit the wall as I quickly took a glance at the file sprawled on the floor. My breathing hitched as he suddenly smirked, raising the arm with the dagger near me.
"I should have fucking killed you when you stepped into this house, you ungrateful cunt!"

Life's Unexpected Turn
When the person you love becomes the one you fear most, survival becomes the only thing that matters. Parker Avery is a creative teacher and talented artist trying to rebuild her life after escaping a past filled with lies, betrayal, and unimaginable abuse. Moving to a new city offers her a chance to breathe again, to rediscover who she is beyond the scars she carries. Bailey Adams is a kindhearted college student who once believed she had the perfect life. But the woman she fell in love with has slowly become someone cruel and dangerous. Trapped in a relationship built on manipulation, fear, and violence, Bailey finds herself losing the person she used to be. When Parker and Bailey's lives unexpectedly cross, neither of them are ready to trust again. Both carry wounds that run deeper than anyone can see, and both fear that happiness may simply be something meant for other people. Yet sometimes healing begins in the most unexpected ways. The question is whether these two broken souls will find the strength to face their pasts and open their hearts... or if the damage done to them will keep them apart forever. _____________________________________________ Please note that the imagery used in my chapters are not 100% mine. SOARINDASH SERIES
Rainbow Dash never expected a simple music festival with Fluttershy to flip her world upside down. Between churros, pop bands, and unexpected emotions, she finds herself caught in a confusing whirlwind she definitely didn't sign up for. She's the bold, confident, no-nonsense girl who's totally not into romance... right? But when one awkward wave turns into a maybe-crush on a guitarist with navy blue hair, things start to spiral - fast. And it doesn't help that Fluttershy seems to know more than she's letting on. What started as a normal spring break slowly becomes a rollercoaster of teasing friends, clashing feelings, and moments she can't explain - or ignore. Sometimes love hits you when you're not looking. And Rainbow Dash? She never saw it coming. DISCLAIMER: I found the images on Pinterest and do not claim ownership of them. All credit goes to the original artists!
