For so long Luna wanted her ponies to appreciate her work, the labor she endures every night to ensure their protection. But her compliments have come hollow and the nights stale with no ponies to flourish under her moon. She turned to a mysterious stone to wake the masses to their senses, but instead, she was banished, by her elder sister no less. She was left alone for centuries to face a slow and unanticipated demise.
Only centuries later, night by night, did a mare wished upon her moon. Countless times she hoped for it to grant just a single wish. A wish she felt not strong enough attain on her own. In one fateful night, the mysterious stone reciprocates her desire.

First Steps Again

I wrote this fanfic based on a simple question: Why are there so many stories that approach age change with something like, "Oh, I'm a kid again... good to know" and skipping almost the entire childhood and learning process? Rarity runs a successful brand and boutiques all across Equestria and Sweetie Belle is in high school as well. She's in the junior pony choir and theatre club. Scootaloo is a high school dare devil. Fluttershy has finally told Scootaloo the truth about her being Scoot's mom. Twilight has given birth to a prince and her and Flash are happy as ever. Pinkie has triplets of her own. Rainbow Dash is a true Wonderbolt now and has a daughter of her own now with Soaren. Luna has a daughter of her own now named Nightingale as well as a son named Midnight.
