Hello, this is just a short story. Maybe not even really a story.
I had this assignment in my English class where we were asked to write about the feelings of a person from the painting "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper. And I quite liked to do this, so here is my finished product.
Also, do you think I should write a whole story to this?

Safe and Sound: The Short Memoir written by Elliot Parker. I've always written stories and music about my personal life. It was the only thing that would heal my scars and wounds. However, there was always a hidden layer of truth that I tried to shield from everyone in order to protect myself. Everything I write tends to be about my thoughts, feelings and emotions but in a way that I could keep them private. This essentially led me to bottle it all up and throw it far into the water. And then I was pulled underwater where I was going to have to face every part of my brain and heart in order to swim through the storm I became trapped in. This story was written about my life in ways I've never explored with writing. It was excruciating to look at my deepest insecurities, the feelings for a boy who never loved me back, and the most traumatic events I've had to experience, in the eyes. Writing a memoir that was originally for an assignment, turned into something more for me. It allowed me to revisit the past and try to explain them in my words, instead of rumors being spread faster than a forest fire. Sometimes you don't know you're hurting until you're being forced to sit in a locked room with your past. Realizing just how much pain and suffering I am still going through was tough, but it opened my eyes and allowed me to release the words I've been holding hostage for months. These four chapters were written about moments in my life that I've never shared with anyone before. I'm ready to tell my story. (Not finished, never will finish it. Funny to say, I wrote this back in my first year of high school for, honestly, shits and giggle but it blew up???? Idk... but I kinda just lost the original plot so it's all over the place, grammar doesn't make sense, nothing in this fucking book makes sense. So my apologies for the dear people whom have read this. I apologize for it being the way it is and how my mind just simply fucked it all up. I thought I could personally make my way up to the top and be so damn happy with it, yet looking back at my 14/15 year old self, it simply was a rich feeling that I was on top; to be honest, I felt like I was best out of all. Looking back and maturing A LOT, I don't feel or think that way. I understand we all have different writing skills or grammar; but that is simply just not in my case. I wrote this out of being greedy and thinking I simply wanted everyone to like it but turns out; even the painter hates its awful paintings. So you may read it if you would like, or don't. PRESENT-DAY "This last painting is made by an artist who took a long time to agree to sell her beautiful painting. She chose this out of all her paintings. She claimed that this is the best one she made and ready to let it go. So whoever will be the new owner of this tonight, she wants to tell you to store it well for her." He explained vigorously and removed the cover of the painting. I was astounded when I see the painting. It was her painting, us in the bar. I can never forget the shades, textures of her painting especially this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I did not feel the same way before. I did not hate you. I hated and torture myself not to see you that I might just hurt you." He added. I really miss this man and I am trying to relieve myself not to give in again easily. I paid the guilt by giving myself to him but how can I not restrain myself from him. I was busy thinking when he hugged me touching my hair. I can sense him wanting me and his head on my shoulders, hugged me like we are just the person in the hotel. People are gazing us now. "Enough, enough, people are looking at us. It's embarrassing." I protested. We sit and finish the meal and share the food. After eating he leads me to my room, I am drowsy from the wine I drink. He did not take a sip of it and it's better for me.
