Dipper and Mable the twin heirs to their Grunkles thrones. Mabel is excited to be in the throne, ruling and hosting balls. Dipper is less excited, for. multiple reasons: 1. (COMPLETED but EDITING) After their summer in Gravity Falls, Dipper, and Mable return home. Time passes, and the twins change. They grow up. Mable becomes a free and outgoing teen and Dipper? Well, he isolated himself and everyone around him didn't seem to notice. And being alone with one's thoughts doesn't usually end well for anyone, so how will it end up for Dipper? Shortly after their 3rd year of high school ends, their parents think they need some time outside the city, and they send them back to Gravity Falls for the summer. But when the plan fails, Dipper finds himself asking an old enemy for help. Can Dipper save Gravity Falls before it's too late? Or will he be trapped in a world of darkness, with only his friends and family?

After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs. This book had been discontinued unless you guys convince me otherwise, the re-written version is pretty much a different story but has the same general idea. Everything is normal. At least, that's what they thought. Dipper and Mable come back to gravity falls after five years. Although, something seems off. A week into summer and Ford starts to notice a strange aura coming from the twins. One day while they were hanging out, something happens that could change their life forever.
