This is the case for Lyn, a young woman who happens to be an assassin's secretary. They satisfy the ones who yearn for murder, with a high price of course.
An ex-lover of a world-famous celebrity comes in, requesting a murder of his "one true love."
" I beg you, murder the damned woman. Kill the 'Scarlet Woman.'"
Thus, the murder of the Rose begins.
" I need a secretary, someone to help organize my calls. My last secretary died, well, one of my callers got angry with her... You seem like an organized person, miss. As of now, you are my new secretary."
" Secretary? You barely know me, Thomas Ferguson. For all you know, I could be the messiest, most disorganized person in the world. Why offer?"
He leaned in close to me and whispered, " You're desperate for money, miss. Someone as desperate as yourself will do anything for a penny. 3298 Crawford Street. 10 p.m. sharp, don't be late."
I watched him straighten his back and turn to the corpse of the gray eyed boy. He walked off into the darkness, whistling a quiet tune while wringing his arms. The corpse was slung over his body like a sack of potatoes. Judging from his demeanor, Thomas didn't seem to give a fuck that he was carrying a dead corpse with him on New Years Day.
