"Wouldn't it be nice if I could be in this story as well?"

Sequel to : A Knight's Loyalty
Started: 10/24/2019

It hasn't been all that long since Ryouri, his Food Souls and their allies took down Spaghetti in Nervas. Ryouri is content to be back with his restaurant in Gloriville, Kuri in her home in Sakurajima, and Catcakes with Raindrop Cake in Nevras.

Yet, things seem to enjoy happening, and when the King finds that this small band of heroes completed in just a few days what the Holy See - a church-run group that pursues criminals - couldn't achieve in months, he becomes eager to meet them. From there, the story spirals outwards.

There are new allies and new enemies. With Spaghetti not technically having been arrested and Whiskey the new owner of the medallion, anything and everything is bound to happen - especially when the newest enemy is known for his inane winning streak.

The stakes have been raised. So, can this group of heroes make the cut?

" You can't do this mission alone! I won't allow you to make reckless decisions based on your emotions, Via." Exhaling, I cross my arms around my waist and stare at him with frustration. "You can be mad all you'd like, it's not going to change my decision." Getting up from the black leather chair I walk towards the wooden door and go to push it open with my right hand until I hear him behind me. "Via, I'm serious. Listen to me, going alone is a suicide mission, I'll send someone experienced to go along with you when you're ready to leave." He exhales and sits down in his chair with his hand in his chin. I glance at him, my silver eyes burning a hole right through him as I huff and open the door all the way and exit his office. A dark alleyway creeps up in view as I sprint down the weathered cobblestone, leaving wet footprints as I dart into the small spot. The full moon beams down from the sky, illuminating the small buildings up against each other for support. The smell of rain and sea water infiltrate my nose as I breathe in heavily, exhaling as I remember that it's only half past 12 a.m. Slowing down to a walking speed, I glance around me and cover my face with my dampened hood and keep my eyes fixated on the sleek ground below me. My mission: to infiltrate the Six Eyed Serpent, an organization of the most wanted and criminally insane. The top 4 leaders of the group are identified by the creeping two headed snake symbol. And let me rephrase, this isn't just my mission, it's my death wish. A suicide mission. No one has ever faced any of the Six and lived to see the light of day. This is my story, about an experienced assassin going up against the most ruthless group of people the country as ever seen.
The Wizard and The Serpent (A Beauty and the Beast/Sanders Sides AU) by Loganofthenorth
23 parts Complete
Janus Viper was once a handsome king, a cruel ruler that ruled his Kingdom with an iron fist. Even though he had everything he ever wanted since he was born (except, perhaps, love) he taxed his people relentlessly in order to fill his castle with the most beautiful objects, and his parties with the most powerful people. One day, a weak and homeless old man visits Janus, seeking shelter from the storm. Janus turns the man away, repulsed by his appearance, and as punishment, a curse is placed on Janus and his castle. Janus is turned into a monster, with six arms, claws, venomous fangs, and scales covering half of his body. The servants of the castle and all his guests were turned into furniture, as punishment for sitting by and doing nothing while the Prince grew into the cruel King he is today. However, there is a cure for the curse. If Janus can learn to truly love another and be loved in return, the curse will be cured. As the years went by, the castle and everyone in it became forgotten, and Janus lost hope. For who could ever love someone as cold and monstrous as him? Meanwhile, in a small village nearby, a Wizard named Logan Foster is looked down on by his town for his startling intelligence, difficulty in social situations, and his practices of magic. That doesn't deter Roman Prince from attempting to court Logan, however, because even if he is odd, Logan is the most handsome man in the village, and Roman has always enjoyed a challenge. Not wishing for his son to be alone, Patton Foster agrees to give Roman his blessing. Logan, who doesn't wish to get married, runs away from home. He plans to build a cabin in the forest and live the rest of his days there, but instead he finds a castle, where he is invited to stay as a guest. (Yes changing the captive part you're welcome) He isn't sure yet who the Castle's Master is, but based on the talking furniture that allowed him to stay here, he assumes it's a fellow Wizard. The Adventures of Cuphead and Mugman! by tomodaphne
31 parts Complete
This is a retelling of the hit indie game "Cuphead". It tells the story of Cuphead and Mugman, two brothers who live in the mystical Inkwell Isles. While exploring, the boys stumble upon the Devil's Casino. They have a good run of luck, but then the Devil himself shows up and strikes them a deal: if they win, they get the whole casino, but if they lose, the Devil takes their souls. Cuphead blindly accepts--and loses! The Devil takes pity on the poor mugs and gives them a task: collect the soul contracts of his debtors in two days. Will they collect all the souls in time, or will the Devil take their own?! The Delicious Last Course takes place a week after the rest of the series. The Legendary Chalice, who prefers to be called Alice Chalice, takes our cup boys to her home, the mysterious DLC Island. One of her friends, Chef Saltbaker, has come up with a recipe for a Wondertart that'll turn Alice corporeal again, and she needs their help getting the ingredients from some fearsome foes. Will they be able to get the ingredients and make the Wondertart? Sure, you might have heard this story before if you've played the game, but I'm trying to put my own spin on this, y'know, fleshing out the plot and characters more. I really enjoy writing this, and I hope you enjoy reading it. I do not own Cuphead, only this interpretation of it and the character Candy Camera. Cover art by DeviantArt user thatonegalaxygirl. I have also borrowed a few lines from Indeimaus, Slimecicle, Vine, and tamago2474, among other places.
