The moment you and your soulmate touch the world lights up in brilliant color. Friends of close bonds can allow you to see a certain color. (Y/N) isn't able to see any, neither is Giyuu.

In a world festered with demons a group emerged called the Demon Slayers. With vigorous training and the constant risk of death to these man-eating demons they fought to save humans. Most have lost someone to a demon, (Y/N) was no exception.
Though this world isn't just demon-ridden, there is also the constant threat of finding your soulmate. Most demon slayers fear their soulmate is another demon slayer of a higher or lower rank, afraid they may lose their partner in battle. This fear resides strong within (Y/N), causing her to cover every inch of her body. She is afraid to see the color of the world, afraid that the moment she does it'll just go grey once more.
