6 years has passed since the contract was made. A 19 year old Ciel Phantomhive watching 'that manor' burning beside no one other than his faithful butler, Sebastian Michealis.
Finally the time came for the demon to consume his master's soul after years of waiting, years spent cultivating the soul to perfection. However, he didn't expect for the latter to confess to him his real feelings and grow so attached to him. After all, Ciel was supposed to just be a meal to him, nothing else.
What if the demon accepted his feelings and let his master live, even though that will lead to his end someday? And what if Ciel decided to fake his death and hide with a new identity far away from his status and duties as the last heir of the Phantomhive family, and what would happen if the two become mates and started a family and lived a happy life, until fate interferes again and Sebastian gets seriously ill as a result of his decision years ago.
Will Ciel gives up and watch his mate die or will he challenge the fate and try to save his life, even if that leads to Sebastian's death and he may not succeed?
