Escanor asked them all if they could stop this pointless war or he would have to use force. the devils laughed at him and asked 'who are you to stop this war? you're just a puny human'. Escanor said which scared god and his Angel's along with the fallen faction and devil faction 'I am the pinnacle of all races and those who didn't heed my warning will fall' and so escanor killed the for original devil kings after them ddraig and Albion started fighting in the middle and so escape killed them for god to put them in sacred gears before he left he said to azazel and god 'the only reason I let you leaders live is because I believe that you didn't want this war in the first place SO LISTEN IF ANOTHER WAR BREAKS OUT OR IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT STARTING ANOTHER WAR MY DECENDENTS WILL STOP IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN SO THIS IS FAREWELL' and like if the sun itself disappeared he was gone as well and so the great war is over and years later merlin was dying from a light spear from her chest and escanor is nowhere to be found and before she died she give Golden her sin along with her and escanor's sacred treasures and made Golden promise her to kill Kolkabeil and avenge her and so he promised but first she sent him to the underworld to talk to sirzechs and to give him the letter from his mother and father.
