My name is Simone and I have been in a serious love/hate relationship with my job for the last five years. I am a photographer in a private photo studio onboard a cruise ship, a job that has turned me into somewhat of a cynic after everything I have seen, heard and unfortunately been through. SO instead of living up to my name, Mona, I decided to write about my experiences. These last five years have given me a lot of honest poetry, two novels and a work in progress 'tell all' book titled "This book will get me into a lot of trouble". Today I would like to share some of my poetry accompanied by my photography with you hoping that it will awaken something in the person reading it.
I write about things that everyone will or have felt at some point in their lives. Things that are both heart-wrenchingly unfortunate or breathtaking beautiful with just a little hint of sarcasm. I write to show how irrefutably powerful emotions can be and how selfish and selfless people can be. Reading something that a complete stranger wrote but somehow feeling so close to that person by sharing the same gains or losses is a pretty powerful thing. Something I consider to be, at the risk of sounding cliche, very close to magic. I would like to provide someone with my magic when they read my work.

Trying to live a normal life with her vision, Isabella is dragged into a whole new world. Everything happens for a reason. She met new people, experiences new emotions, and discovers secrets and the reason behind her sister's death. Now she wants revenge. Battling demons from her past, going to underground fights and nightclubs, hacking into a porn site, and on top of everything, there's Hunter Armstrong. Warning ⚠️ This book contains dark themes, mature and triggering content, i.e. description/talk of suicide, rape, porn, and mature language. ~^~^~^~ His lips cupped mine, and a swell of warmth unfurled in my heart. It was gentle and soft, something I never expected from a guy like him. He moved his right hand from my cheek to my waist, tugging me against him, and molded our bodies together. A wave of electricity went down to my core when he licked my lips. "Open your mouth, Bella." His commanding husky voice against my lips jolted my heart, and I followed his order like a slave. With no control, a moan erupted from my throat as his tongue met mine. It was barely audible, but I knew he heard it when he smiled against my lips. He swept my hair from my face to my back and gathered them in his fist. He tugged my head back, deepening the kiss, and my heart thrashed in my chest. At that moment, I didn't need drugs to know what being high felt like because his lips were enough to send me on nine clouds. Just once and I was addicted to it. If this is how being kissed feels like, then fuck, I've wasted a lot of time. ~^~^~^~ FEATURED ON: @Romance (Romantic Suspense) HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 Goodgirl, Darkpast #2 Badboy #5 Newadult

*Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" VampireSa5m41993 "Thank you for wonderful dogs and little brothers and eccentrically hormonal best friends!" -Nat-Attack "I am totally hooked on this book!" nbazinet "I love the way the story flows and that you have really roundabout characters. It's as if they're real while I'm reading!" life_is_beautiful115 "Your work is literally art." lemonsun123 "Every time I read this book it just makes me smile." Nicooole97 Cover by: -winterr

Over the years, I've written many pieces of writing, and shared barely a fraction of them here. Recently, I find myself back here again, and in dire need of somewhere to write, and somewhere to share it. This is to be a collection of poems covering various states of emotion, as and when I write them. A lot has happened since I last wrote anything in general so, this is gonna be hard. I hope you all enjoy the journey I'm gonna take through writing all of this, it's gonna take a lot.
