The year is 2020. It was was a new year at Unionhood High school. A sixteen year old student, Avery Young, finds out she's sharing classes with a new exchange student, Lucas John. Her friend Gracie claims him to be the cutest thing, and fall in love with the 17 year old boy. Avery has never seen the boy. In fact, she has never seen anything, for she is blind. As the year continues, Avery and Lucas get closer and closer, eventually to the point where they both fall in love. Lucas tries to find a way to cure Avery's blindness, and finds a surgery that claims to cure the blind. But remembering how this world is, some people don't think that blind people should live...

Laurel has runaway from her foster parents, changed her name and even the colour of her hair. She's created a whole new persona for herself and never wants to revisit the past, but what happens when the most unlikely thing happens? What happens when Trey moves in just around the corner?
