Before the great Wind Mage, before the curse upon the land of Hyrule, before the dark intentions of an apprentice... there was but an innocent Minish child. 
Something had to make him into the villain he became. Something had to drive him into his madness. Something had give him no other choice. But what was it? 
Was it his master? His nature? His loneliness? His weakness? His torment? 
Perhaps it was simply a perfect storm... 
But where did it all begin?

This is my idea of how Vaati came to be, starting from the very moment he became Ezlo's Apprentice.

He has created a kingdom in the skies, all for his own, with farmland, a village, a river and lake, a forest, and a field of flowers. In the center of the vilage, he even had a statue of Link and the Picori. Still, there was something missing. In the forest clearing in the kingdom of Hyrule, he meets (y/n), a pure-hearted fox-girl who has the ability to purify monster's souls. She seems skittish, and incredibly shy at first, but the two eventually fall in love~.

Can he reawaken Fi's memories, and will she forgive him after everything he's done? Even then, how will their lives continue as they are? He will face countless obstacles and nameless evils, but he knows he has to try. Even still, a lingering doubt gnaws at him even as the dangers of power rear their ugly heads. How can light prevail when the shadows themselves are alive? This is a novelization of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I have taken a few creative liberties in the process of novelization to try and ensure the story flows well and makes sense.
