Changed the way he saw the world, saw love, changed him. In the past two years all he did was try to replant the garden- it had finally started growing. He had gotten back to what felt like could be normal- then someone stopped to smell them. All while someone else was still cutting them down. Josiah was way to smart, to smart to be doing what put him back in jail. But yet here was- he stuck to what he knew, stuck to the box the world put him in and used it at his advantage. Could he be doing better? Of course. Could he go places? Yes. But instead he always stopped to smell the white roses that were painted red. Did he ask why they were red? No. Did he ask who painted them? No this is the streets ask questions like those and you won't smell shit again. Be careful what you do, even something so pretty can cause you harm.
