Ares fills her in on what has been happening since she's been gone a couple millennials. He also tells Athena about how  Xena and Gabrielle are reborn again as their decendants. Athena and Ares decide to slowly let Xena and Gabrielle know that she is back. Meanwhile sides are taken as Gabrielle's family fight over what was revealed on tv and the Amazons come face to face with Xena and Gabrielle, pledging their allegence to them. At the hospital, Police Chief Cortez life hangs in the balance as not only part of her liver is damaged from the arrow that entered her abdomen, but she needs a blood transfusion also. Feeling awful about what had happened, Kira steps up and decides to be the donor, despite Xena's concern for her. And after Lester sustains a hit to the shoulder and went into shock, he wakes up a little different, shocking Gabrielle and Xena. The media starts to hound Xena and Gabrielle for interviews, Aphrodite figures things out and confronts Athena, a battle happens, and Ares opens up a massive can of worms at the end!!All Rights Reserved

Then, while reliving an old stomping ground of Zara and Maria, Police Chief Maria Cortez explores the cave where Xena fought Alti a couple of years back, and she stumbles across Alti's necklace, vowing to restore it to its beauty. And finally, now a doctor, Beth starts her first year of residency at Sedona Memorial Hospital and is shocked by the fact that her aunt and dad told her younger sisters the truth about their relationship, then and now.

It was suppose to be regulare Winter Solstice. The first one after the second war. The usual boring meeting of the gods that was to take place. The event to happen after was what many gods, satyrs, nymphs and demigods looked forward to. The party that would be hosted on Olympus. All Olympians were together. Some of the demigod children were also in the throne room talking amongst themselves, ironically most argued with the children of the gods their parents were arguing with. Though it all came to a halt when Hestia stood up and walked through a door that appeared in the middle of the throne room. Worried for their sister/aunt the other Olympians followed. The demigods that were also in the room followed suit. They were all greeted by the sight of a simple hearth inside a rustic looking home. A little girl whose form seemed to shift. Though their attention was drawn to the young male who was adding a log to the fire before he noticed them. "Ah, come take a seat. Welcome to the Hearth's Home." Came a warm greeting from the male. Without noticing they all put their weapons away.

When Loki finds out what her parents are up to, he's even more determined to get her away from her parents so they can't use her anymore. Conflict in soothes between Loki and the young goddess' parents. The young goddess' parents try to come between Loki and young goddess. They even go as far as sending her brother to try and bring her back to Olympus. Much to the dismay of Aphrodite and Hermes the young goddess' brother and Loki become fast friends due to the care that they share for the young goddess. Will Aphrodite and Hermes keep trying to come between Loki and the young goddess? Or will they leave them alone so they can start a life together? Only time will tell if Loki and the young goddess will be together or destiny to be apart.

Though locked in a room, chained, handcuffed and tied up, Xena and Gabrielle know this is a con and have a little fun with the three leaders as they figure out how to escape. Meanwhile, Xena's sister Sydney and the Amazons team up to rescue Xena and Gabrielle and during their mission they form a close bond when Sydney reveals to some of them that she's been having dreams about being a Amazon warrior from ancient times. Though Sydney can't pinpoint which Amazon she once was, she knows she faught with Xena and Gabrielle during the time when the ancient Amazons were around. Gabrielle finally tells Xena how she knows how to pick a lock with just about anything, Sydney and the Amazons almost get caught by one of the leaders and decide to set their plan in motion after the brief ordeal. All this plus the leaders of this "cult" realizes that they may have bitten off more than they could chew when Xena and Gabrielle break free from their restraints and are finally rescued
