Jonathan Liu, aspiring author currently working as a bartender at MYST, a classy bar and lounge in the heart of Taipei, is determined to get his novel published this time. He's got one hundred and thirty-eight rejections under his belt, and he doesn't intend to hit one hundred and thirty-nine. Or forty. But either way, he's still got to cater to Taipei's night life, be it an adventurous society princess or a creepy guy on the street.
