Draco Malfoy had everything he wanted, except of course Keely Chambers, the best friend of the mudblood know-it-all and the golden boy Potter. He wanted her, but his father would never approve of a blood traitor. Of course it wasn't like they were going to get married... He just wanted a little taste... And besides, what his father doesn't know won't hurt him. But Keely is different from any witch he'd ever met. It wasn't long before he wanted... no, needed more than just a taste. How is it that one little witch could make him feel things he thought he'd outgrown? Then what will he do when the Dark Lord takes a keen interest in the spunky little witch with peculiar eyes? For the fate of the world, as well as the child will rest on the son of the servant. Keely was frozen. She could do nothing but stare at the face that was coming closer to hers by the second. He whispered, "I'm making it my business who you date," before claiming her lips with his. The world stood still, or perhaps it had dropped out from beneath her feet. She couldn't think. Her wand fell from her slack grip. She didn't bother picking it up. Her hands snaked around his neck and she held him to her as though he were a life preserver and she was in danger of drowning.

It's been one year since Hermione had lost Ron. She's growing tired of friends and family treating her as if she could break at any second. All she wants to do is be there for her daughter, Rose. As life would have it, she gains a new friend, and maybe even a second chance at love. Draco has been a single parent for a while. He wants to be the best dad that he can be to Scorpius. His life has become even more complicated when he tries to help his new friend, his former boss, Hermione Jean Granger-Weasley. ~excerpt: How could Ginny do this to her? To her! They were supposed to be best friends, sisters even. A hand wrapped around her wrist. "Go away Ginny." She bit the words out. A low chuckle rumbled behind her. "Too bad I'm not the Potter." Why did he have to follow after her! "Go away, Malfoy." The hand dropped away from her wrist. "So, it's Malfoy again." The pain in his words brought Hermione to a halt. "Why did you follow after me?" She whispered without turning around. Draco chuckled and she could imagine him running his hand through his hair. "It's quite obvious why Ginny did this." Hermione turned around to look at him, stunned that he had called Ginny by her name. He brought his eyes to meet hers and laughed. "Apparently, not that obvious." He continued when she remained quiet. "She's playing matchmaker." Ginny was doing what! Hermione was going to have to have a long chat with her friend. "I'll tell her to stop." She said tersely. "Why?" Did he really just ask her why? He should be the one to know why, Hermione had told him the reason why they would never be together. Then she remembered his words from that day, he had told her that she was worth the wait. . . . . . . . Characters belong to J.K Rowling.
