The year is 1973.
The rhythmic melodies of The Beatles echo wall to wall as seventeen-year-old Angela Young battles Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. A regiment of new medical students returning from the Vietnam War are serviced to the hospital for a new trial experiment that will hopefully cure the malignant disease. Billy Walker is a stoic fresh out of combat soldier looking to pursue a career as a doctor, but maybe the curly-haired med student might just find his match made for heaven.
