Richard Garrison has no one. After what happened to the stock market, his family is bankrupt to the point of no return. His mother is broken due to the recent events going on in her life and he has no choice but to take care of her. He has to be the man of the family, he has to work in order to afford their small, rundown apartment in the Bronx, but jobs are difficult enough to find for anyone right now, let alone a fifteen year old. Between work and school, Richard has nothing. The rest of his family has abandoned him and his mother and he has no choice but to be strong for her. Hardly anyone in his new school wants anything to do with him when they find out why he's there...until a certain English assignment is given to him. After he dishes himself out to the very core to his fellow classmates in a morose presentation, will they accept him, or will they just hate him even more?
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
