He's a nobody.
Someone who was never seen other than by his close friends. He was seen as the good guy in his old school, he was loved by everyone and even had a boyfriend. . . That's until he broke up with his boyfriend and had his life ruined. Everything went down hill just like that.
He got slowly devoured by depression, anxiety, worry, guilt, bullies, etc.
He was about to end it all until he got sucked into a video game of a digital life.
"Where am I?..." He asks scared, panting out in a frantic as his eyes dart everywhere- taking in all of the scenes around him. It was beautiful yet horrific.
Tears weld in the corner of his eyes as he can't help but try to catch his breath; anxiety acting up quicker than usual.
"Welcome [Insert Name]. Please submit your name to continue the story of the life you will be making and have a better life." A digital voice says as an icon bar appears in front of him, a blinker blinking and Insert Name hollowly beside it.
"What will my name be?..." He mumbles, scared and looks down gulping, scared. After a good amount of thinking, he clicks on the blinker and a keyboard appears below it.
He clicks submit as a ding sound goes off and the name is submitted, keyboard disappearing just as it came.
The digital voice comes back with a cheerful tone to indicate he has done the task correctly. "Thank you for submitting your name, welcome to your digital life. Be advised if you die, you can not be returned to the real world. Thank you for playing, Anxiety. WeLcOmE hOmE....-" the voice glitches out as a small laughter could be heard behind it.
Anxiety whimpers and stands up to his feet not realizing he had staggered to his knees. "N-Now wh-what?..." He says in a small voice, looking around as a small town could be seen from where he stood.
"Social interaction... j-just great..."
He starts walking out of the woodlines, but what he didn't know... Was more players were getting sucked into the game as well.
