For centuries, people have seen a clear division in the Arthurian legend--good and evil. And every time, Arthur is the first name on the side of good. Morgana le Fey has no memory of the person she once was, and the Lady of the Lake's only duty is to protect her from the Once and Future King of Camelot, whose intentions are flawed and whose secrets are many. The trustworthiness of his famous knights in shining armour is just as debatable. Who will come out on top? Nimue's regrets and resolutions? Morgaine's anger over how she was betrayed--and portrayed? This is the sequel to 'A Legend Changes', it continues from where the first book finishes yet skips between more than the two main characters. Before you read this, if you haven't already, I suggest reading the first novel otherwise it may be difficult to understand what is going on in some chapters or scenes and to know who is who exactly. Revealfic set after 4x10: The Druid boy leaves a lasting impression on Arthur and in an attempt to fulfill his promise to the spirit he sets out to find the Druid tribes of Camelot and bring them together to make peace. He learns of stories, prophecies and of Emrys. He also can't get it out of his mind that the Druids are acting strange around his manservant, but he is sure the truth will come out soon enough, after all- Merlin couldn't keep a secret if his life depended on it. I hesitate. Why did I have this strange feeling? This strange aura behind the door. It wasn't like a threatening kind of feeling. But it was strange. Like if I opened this door, it would change my life forever. I hear a knock again. I shake my head from these feelings and thoughts. I then open it and look down to see a young child with a hood on. "Hello? Did you need something?" I ask. The child looks up and takes her hood off, revealing her long, black hair. The young girl looks up at me, showing her blue eyes. I can't help but think she looked awfully familiar. "Well?" I say. "You." she says. I then feel a deep pit in my stomach. She can't be. "Pardon?" "You're my father. Merlin. Servant to the King." she says. "....no." I say softly. This can't be happening. "I'm your daughter." she smiles. My daughter. Who I didn't even know existed until now, is standing right in front of me. Will be responsible for the fall of Camelot. The beginning of Morgana's rule. And the death of Arthur. ------------------------------------ Merlin on the path to restoring magic to the Kingdom and protecting the once and future King Arthur Pendragon is now faced with a dilemma after seeing a vision of his daughter killing Arthur.
