Ember Sinclair is a complex person. She doesn't trust very easily. She doesn't let people in at the toss of a hat either. She's independent, and she's been through a lot. Adding onto the stress of being a teenager, Ember father moves her and her little brother across the country from England to Malibu...Big change.

Zeppelin Navarro isn't your typical teenage boy. He's kind, understanding, and for his age, very mature. He carries himself differently than most of the guys in his grade. He can play guitar, is on the baseball team, and is adorable. He's a triple threat. His home life is not as perfect, however.

What happens when these two meet on the first day of school, and lock eyes? Only time will tell.
