My brother the 10 year old genius
We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. FREELANCER. BOOK ONE of the FREELANCER SERIES
Back in the late 1990's a great PC game came out called FREELANCER. It was an open galaxy adventure space game that had a good storyline. I spent untold hours flying through space in this game and I always thought it was ripe for a spinoff side story but I never pursued it. Nearly 30 years later I discovered a website called GOOD OLD GAMES where you could find and download many great games of yore. There I found FREELANCER. So I climbed back into the cockpit of a starfighter after so long and have enjoyed it even more than I did way back when. Once again the possibility of a side story presented itself and this time I have risen to the challenge. I have always been an avid reader of SCI-FI and I will be the first to tell you that I have blatantly used ideas from other sci-fi works in my story. I have also used names of real people and places to flesh out my narrative. And as a warning for those offended by sexual content, I have included some pretty erotic sexual segments in my story, so you may want to close your eyes as you read those parts. If you have ever enjoyed playing the FREELANCER PC game, you may enjoy my story. Let me know. As a side note to the story: In the story there is a space station named Lajes. In the following books I have changed the name from Lajes to Freeport Seven. Sorry if it causes any confusion.Complete

Warning: this book's focus is drawn to a character who hints themes of depression and self-harm. The idea of the story is to present the experience of learning to understand and comfort someone through these struggles. So while these themes are contained within a comical styled story, they are still present so please be mindful of that before you read on. You. You're just a normal girl. A normal girl with a normal life... until you meet the boy with blue hair... Name: unknown Age: unknown Human? Unknown How can someone live a life without anyone knowing of their existence? You don't know. But you want too. Determination fills you with a desire to seek more about this boy. There's just something about him that makes you want to know more. He meets your eye. Is a name really too much to ask? He refuses to give you one. If you keep investigating, you'll get hurt. You'll be killed. You'll regret it. It's not a warning. It's simply the truth. You've been noticing strange things going on. He's not in any records. A shotgun fire?! He has wounds that heal all too quickly. How can a boy get shot and heal by the very next day? You want to know, don't you? Then simply allow your mind to go wondering into this book and discover the secrets behind the boy who no one knows. (This book is a representation of my experiences with dating someone with depression in high school. I wrote it while we were dating, subconsciously writing him into the character Infinity. I will say that I intend to rewrite this at some point to send a better message, as I feel some of the actions in this book are unhealthy reactions to depression, that I have a much better perspective of now) [I'm also working on a VN based on this story....
