Tommy Shelby meets Irene Lincoln, a girl with chocolate brown hair and warm emerald eyes, in the Garrison pub one evening when he catches her speaking to Polly and Michael Gray.
They get to know each other after that night. They spend time together, they act like best friends but there is also a sense of hatred and awkward unspoken words between them both.
Irene spends a lot of time within the Shelby household, and becomes quite comfortable around the family, this is until Irene develops feelings for the crystal eyed Shelby brother, but he is adamant that his feelings are completely platonic and has no love interest in Irene.
Tommy Shelby is struggling to convince himself that his words are true, but he refuses to admit that he may be falling for the brunette beauty he has gotten used to calling his friend.
