When her mother sends her to with her father in Emerald Lake Hills, California. Ryder has chosen to see this as an opportunity to shake up her whole look and create a whole new personality while continuing to wonder about the murders in this small town.

She soon meets four new people who have their noses deep into an ongoing murder investigation that has taken over the town. She sticks her nose into the business along with the self- proclaimed detectives. She joins along as things get interesting, everything also begins to become dangerous.
