After high school, Jamie Everett decided to go backpacking across Europe and North Africa. She wanted to experience the world the way it was before she settled down in the boring routine that was called life.

A few months into her trip, Jamie ends up in Morocco. She falls in love with the people and the culture. A few days into her stay, Jamie meets a man named Abbas Siddig. Jamie leaves the day after the one night stand. A month after leaving, she finds out she's pregnant. Jamie's afraid to go back to Morocco and face Abbas. So she doesn't. Jamie immigrates to Finland and settles down as a bartender as she lives with Riku, someone she met on her travels. She tells her family where she is and how she's doing.
