All she had ever known growing up, were the four white walls of the box she'd been confined to, along with a whack psychopath, who also happened to be the only other person she'd been around, until she met him.
As far as she could recall, Jenna had never fit in. Not when she was at the orphanage or even after she had left. When she finally manages to escape her hell hole though, will she be able to survive - on her own? Having to struggle for control with the curse over her, not knowing anything of the new outside world, seeing new faces and meeting a dark brooding stranger. How will she know who to trust. Will she actually be able to escape her personal hell entirely?
Lucas Shawn Williams has been going through shit lately. Stuck in his own dark place in a constant spiral only going down, getting tired and drained - enough is enough. The last thing he'd expect, was to meet Jenna. And as twisted as it is, this new girl seemed to have gone through deeper shit than he had. He didn't ask for this. Keeping her at arms length then, should've been the way to go, but all she did was stir something deep within he'd thought long gone.

"'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library.
