Sophia Harrison is't like your average 17 year old girl. She likes hanging out with her friends and has an annoying little sister, and a twin brother, but that's about as normal as she gets. She isn't obsessed with bad boys and she certainly isn't a popular snob. She has a messed up past that only she and her twin brother know the truth about. Then the one and only Alec freaking Mason, the bad boy of Springvale High shows up out of nowhere, claiming that he's move into her home. Her parents and little sister are fine with it because they don't know the truth. But her and Danny (her twin) aren't so happy about it. Then she is forced to take up babysitting by her parents with Alec so that they can bond and so she can earn her own money. What none of them knew was that Sophia is a horrible baby-sitter and that being around Alec will not be good for anyone. From loosing kids at the mall to getting stuck in a window, Sophia learns that baby-sitting kids is not her strongpoint.
