I was in a dark place with no one to hear my cries, I screamed but the sound just echoed into a far distance The pain was unbearable from almost every part of my body especially around my thighs and my hands, my head also hurt I cried into the darkness but no one was there, I prayed and prayed till I found myself slowly slipping out of that world till I was met with blinding light Opening my eyes I looked around to the blank walls made of plain cement blocks, no paint or anything and so was the ground it looked like an uncompleted building but what bothered me the most was what I was in Was it the pain or the wetness I was feeling, i mustered up the courage and raised my pounding head looking up at my wide-spread legs and the pool of blood I was laying in I couldn't cry nor scream just fall back into the dark world I was recently in with one thought in mind What every woman kept and treasured the most was taken away from me.Complete

Life, that's the funny thing about it. We always wanted things to go the way that we imagined it too, but of course plans just always have to change. What if we could've thought about how we wanted our lives to go from in the womb? Wouldn't that make everything so much better? What if we could've created our husbands/wives for ourselves, would that make us a God/Deity? Maybe, just maybe. We were all just living our truths and we needed people to come into our lives to shine the light where we always played blind to. This was about to be the reality of everything that we tried so hard to envisioned for ourselves. They bloom in happiness without giving a care about the world. They are so beautiful. You know, I easily get intrigued by nature; it so beautiful. Sometimes, I wish I could be like the birds. They are so free. They are limitless. They are not enslaved or imprisoned to one place. They have freedom to fly and stop wherever they want to. No one can stop them from flying and singing in the morning sun. There is no restriction to life in their world. They thrive in freedom. They have no expectations to live up to; you don't need to live up to any standards, all you need to do is live. As humans, we are not expected to live that way. We grew up in a society where there are standards and norms everyone is expected to follow. There are limits to what we can do and where we can go. Some people are lucky and bypass those norms. Some of us aren't that lucky. Some of us don't have physical freedom, emotional freedom or even spiritual freedom. The devil loves a fervent Christian. A fearful Christian is an easy target for temptation. Asher Storm is one for an easy target. I loved you so much..." Never looked back, never once stopped to listen to Rose. Just for an unforeseen tragedy to befall him, his family the very next day, Emily's death. When he prayed and pleaded with God, prayed like he never have just for her to die midst his prayer in his arms, he blamed God. "My prayers didn't save Em. Why should I continue?" He stopped praying. He stopped serving God. He blamed God for all his shortcomings. Six years later, he bumped into Michelle, Rose's daughter. Dreaded the moment he knew she belonged to Rose 'cause he loved the little girl at first glance. His surpassed anger and rage resurfaced at the sight of Rose. Rose was grateful to have run into him. She never stopped thinking about him. She never stopped praying for him. She never stopped loving him. That night when Elle called his phone, he knew his life was about to take a massive turn. Not only did the devil come to tear his world apart but to rip his soul out of his body. And God sent Rose to his rescue. His Rose. His starlight. Not until then did he realise, God never gave up on Him. Everything happened to him for a reason. He never left his side, God was with him every step of the way.
