What if the end battle in seventh year didn't end the way it was supposed to? What if it was just one big slaughtering and only a couple of Order members escaped? And what if Harry decides that the future doesn't hold anything promising any more?
He goes back to the past, that is what. After a rigorous training Harry is sent back to just after his parents were killed. Unfortunately for the Order, his and their goals are different this time around. During his training he has come to a couple of important decisions and conclusion, and this time Harry wants some drastic changes to occur. Screw the Order and Dumbledore, Harry is doing it his way.

It's quite a slow story so if you're just interested in when Harry actually time-travels go to the chapter "Time is relative".
I'd personally advise not to skip the earlier chapters though because they contain all the backstory and it can become a little confusing to start right in the middle of the story.

*FULL SERIES COMPLETE* This is book 6 in the Draco Malfoy Series. I highly recommend that you read the first five before this one. Draco has been recruited for Voldemort's elite circle, the Death Eaters. Not only that, but the Dark Lord has a special task for him: kill the only wizard who stands a chance against Voldemort. Draco can't kill anyone, much less Dumbledore, a man he has grown to respect above most others. And how is he supposed to help bring Voldemort to his knees when he's got a Vanishing Cabinet to fix? Things get tough during Draco's sixth year, with former members of Dumbledore's army despising his guts, with aspiring Death Eating Slytherins (and not just Slytherins), and with participants in the battle at the Department of Mysteries conflicted about their feelings towards Draco (well, he did save their lives so it should kind of be a no brainer).
