NOTE: This is based on Slipknot's song "The Virus Of Life". This is also another Apocalyptica AU, except this time it's supernatural.

Eicca Toppinen is a sexually abused eighteen year old who has all the odds stacked up against him in a brand new society where bruises and pleads for help can simply be dismissed. His parents hate him simply because of his presence and his existence. His sisters have been sent away to a different place so they wouldn't have to live the life he's living. And in high school, he doesn't seem to catch a break from the abuse - instead he's just abused even more. And if that wasn't enough, he has a persistent stalker who will stop at nothing to get what they want from him. All of society has turned brutal. Not only that, but Eicca is holding a heavy secret that only he and his parents know about.

But all of everything Eicca knew and lived was going to change when he meets Perttu, a person holding their hopes and dreams high enough for no one else to reach them. With his entire family in tact with wealth and riches, Perttu doesn't have much to worry about on his clock, minus a few exceptions. Even though Perttu knows what's out there in society now, he doesn't like to pay it any mind too often, because he knows what happens when he does.

Two boys living the most uncommon lives can change all the odds that are stacked against them day by day. But the thing is, with all the flaming conflict, will they be able to do it? Will they be strong enough to plow through the sorrow and misery the events will have to offer?
