[I listened to the song Green by Cavetown and somehow thought up this fanfiction. The song doesn't have anything to do with the story. (Though I guess the meaning and overall what this story is about is similar..)] Desc: Bakugo and Midoriya have a complicated relationship. To best friends, to bully and victim, to rivals and now.. Strangers? Yeah, Strangers is what you'd call them now. After an argument, Bakugo and Midoriya stop talking to each other. Nobody knows why or how it happened. Bakugo stops calling Midoriya, "Deku," and refers to his real name. Midoriya stops calling Bakugo, "Kacchan," and calls him Bakugo. Nobody is brave enough to question it, and it never gets addressed. Eventually, that becomes the norm. Bakugo and Midoriya CAN cooperate in lessons now, so the teachers say nothing. Bakugo and Midoriya don't fight anymore ̶(̶T̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶a̶l̶k̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶m̶o̶r̶e̶.̶)̶, so nobody says anything. It's all for the better, right? Well, that's what they tell themselves. But deep down, Bakugo and Midoriya hate it. They hate how they've ended up like this. So.. Maybe that's why Bakugo decides to apologize in the end. Izuku Midoriya was the average kid who stood out because he was born quirkless in a quirk-based world. Growing up bullied by his childhood best friend, he grew to have depression and anxiety. The day he decided to jump, he didn't know that one action would change the course of his life. Being part of the LOV, he was trained to be the perfect weapon, the quirks he was given, were perfect for stealth and hard missions. He was happy and content with the life he was living, not caring that no matter where he went, blood was spilt. Kacchan was a prodigy. Powerful and learned quick. Angry and feared but when his old friend goes missing, he blamed himself. He cut off most of his friends to focus on being the top hero to make up for what he did. When he finally runs into him after two years, he is shocked to see what has happened to the supposedly dead boy. Eyes filled with death and coldness. Scars covering his body and now suddenly has quirks? He realized quickly that they may be right next to each other but they lived worlds apart. . . . TW!! This book does include suicidal thoughts, cutting, depression, gore, and suicide. I would not recommend if that stuff bothers you. If you do struggle with this stuff. Please get help as you are loved even if the voices tell you otherwise.
