ADHOC is a robotics/military research facility in southern Nevada, completely isolated from the outside world. Very few are allowed to enter, and even fewer ever leave.
One of the permanent residents of ADHOC is "Fandroid-" A robot designed to entertain humans, in hopes to distract them from the looming entropy of the ongoing nuclear war.
However, no one in ADHOC is quite who they say they are- or think they are.
Take it from Griffin, a janitor working at the research facility, who claims to be only working for the money... when in reality, he has a much deeper- and more desperate- motive. Or Julie, the high school senior working part time at the facility, who thinks that she really is just a janitor. Or the robot "Fandroid," who has been utterly naive to anything beyond his own room, where he has spent every second of his existence, not questioning a single thing he is told to do, deprived of any desire for free will.
In a facility where too little- or too much- knowledge means certain death, what must those who work in ADHOC do to keep themselves from meeting the same fate as dozens of missing employees... and children? And what could this fate possibly be?
Was "Fandroid's" purpose really only to entertain?
Who's really pulling the strings at ADHOC?
And what does "death" really mean anymore?
No one really knows the truth. I mean, who can you trust when you're a fly trapped in a Web of Wires?

Earth found a portal to a different world. A world they want to tame. So what do they do? They take as many citizens as they can spare and make an army. They send them through the portal, telling them to slaughter the creatures that live there. Techno really doesn't want to do what the government asked him to do. But if he wants to go back to Earth he has to. Then of course they do him dirty and he now has to look after one of the creatures. His hair reminds him of the sun of Earth and he's loud. (Yanderes x male character) It seems that transferring from one military site to another was a terrible choice. Who knew Mother Nature could mess with heads, making the unwanted be utterly divine to others. To push the ignored into the spotlight, to the point their own enemies are forced to love them. Our protagonist will simply have to find out what it means to be loved... by the insane. What do you think the others will do with an organism in their head? Will they even know it's there? If they did know, would they even fight it? (This story could be considered a psychological horror, not too much on the horror part, but keep that in mind. This will just be a tale of decent into insanity) (cover is my art, don't use it without cred)

Granted he had an overprotective ex-military father and a policewoman for a mother, but still, he thought he was just a normal 19yr old boy with a normal job and normal life. But one day, when he reveals a powerful secret he didn't even know he harbored, Tryston's life will turn upside down. In 48 hours, he's dodging bullets, avoiding spies, and teaming up with a snarky assassin who doesn't know how to socialize. Firestorm was enjoying her time in New York. She was making big bucks in her "cleaning" business, and was having a blast fighting off the CEO's bodyguards who thought she was just a defenseless teenager. She doesn't have time to babysit an amateur pyrotechnic who is being chased by the very people she was running from. Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . .
