The year is 2037 and the world has been destroyed by an unknown disease released by the government in New York City. Seventeen year old Frank gets separated from his family and sets on a quest to reunite with them. Twenty-one year old Gerard is left on his own after his gang mysteriously disappears. After being caught in an ambush by the Diseased, Frank is rescued by the strange man with bright red hair and an all-too cocky smile. The two kindle an unlikely friendship as they run from a destruction that Frank has no idea is coming for them.
