In Derry, the town is separated into two groups. The Socs and the Greasers. The Socs being rich, classy and respected, run Derry. The war between the two groups has been going on for years. Their hatred for each other has been festering for decades. When Richie meets Eddie, he's convinced he's found a distraction from the ever growing hatred and harassment in Derry. Accept, there's a problem.

Everything that Eddie avoids in life. But Richie's personality has Eddie like a magnet. Bev met Richie in eighth grade after he was beat up by Bowers and his goons. She remembers it like it was yesterday. She's like a sister to Richie and is always by his side. Most think they're dating despite the rumors about Richie. Bill liked the way Beverly looked since fifth grade. He thought she was really pretty. Short curly hair, green eyes, perfectly pink lips. He thought he was in love with this girl.
