How can we say that love is in madness?

Being in a relationship was never in Charity Evangeline Rodriguez's list of priorities. For her, it was only a distraction and a waste of time. Para sa kagaya niyang lumaking mahirap at salat sa pera, kailangan niyang i-set ang mga priorities niya sa buhay. It's already set to her that her studies were her top priority. She has high dreams-too high for her to be distracted.

She promised herself that no matter what happens, she will not fall in love. She's doing great. She's thriving and hoping that one day, she will achieve her dreams. But little did she know, it was only a matter of seconds until she realized that she's falling in love. Just one kiss, her world turned upside down.

What's even worse than falling in love?

It's about falling in love with a man who claimed to be her best friend-wanna-be and the man she never imagined she would fall for-Isagani Alexis Sketch. He's every woman's fantasy. Foreign looking, he's really a head turner. At hindi lang iisang babae ang humaharang sa kaniya para sa sabihing layuan niya ang lalaki. Some called her a gold digging maid just because she was best friends with him.

Shrugging everything off, she acknowledged the feeling. It was a roller coaster of emotions. Her love for him was maddening. Dahil hindi niya na rin kayang pigilan, nagpadala siya sa agos ng pag-ibig na unti-unti siyang binabaliw. She gave everything she could give. She gave all the love she could give.

She didn't choose love. It's the other way around.

Loving him was not foolish. And for her, sometimes, life is being madly in love.

Pero bakit ganoon? Bakit ang sakit ng kinalabasan?

If she's to be asked, this is how we should define love in madness-kayang-kaya pa ring magmahal sa parehong tao kahit nasasaktan.
