This is a short story of my school shooting that happened in 2017 and is still remembered by everyone in my community. It is a true story, so just be warned that it is not fake or made up. I will have my side of the story in here too, so keep an eye out for that.

I always believed that my group of friends were resilient enough to withstand anything. But then that day happened and I watched it helplessly crumble. The party was quite nice. The school year had just started. But there was too much alcohol, too many problems, and a unfortunate accident that would kill 5 kids, leaving many in grief. Cheating happened, death happened, rape happened, and brought people closer to each other than they've ever been. People mourn every time they see the sunset, people can't bring themselves to get into an Uber. At the end of the day they're just young, and some will stay young forever.
