Isabella stares at the aftermath of what she has just done. Not in a million years did she think that this would be the outcome.
What will she do now. She came here to end it all, end the vampire curse and possibly end her life, But it all went wrong.

'I smell him before I see him, that amazing scent of clean linen and the surf. It fills my head like a drug and as much as I try to not fall into a blissful haze, I take a moment to savour that smell before I turn around.'

"Vampire... Excellent hearing." I lie. I don't want him to know all my secrets.

Isabella or 'Bella' to her friends has a lot on her plate after she made the choice to try and rid the world of the vampire curse.
She has lived for so long now and has seen how the world is changing and wants to make the world a better place, a safer place for her family but when her plan 'didn't go to plan' she is forced to return home and face the music.
Things have changed, shifted, and now she needs to take charge and work our a new way forward. Along the way she meets a man who will change the way she thinks and possibly show her the true meaning of love.
Will she be strong enough to change her ways and accept the fact that she can be loved and that she can let her guard down and not have to be the hero the she 'thinks' she needs to be.
