Love is like a Box of Chocolates 🍫❤️
Inspired from the famous movie line in FOREST GUMP but I realized it actually fits that "LOVE" is like a box of chocolates you'll never know what you gonna get. This story is about a young woman who is experiencing middle life crisis but enjoying every journey she's been through especially her love life and it has always been her habit to visit a lake to reflect what happened for the week. It's her sanctuary and stress reliever to be grateful that life is beautiful no matter what happened. Most of it are actually based on me and my friends experiences though I changed the name of the characters, place and I twisted some of the incidents/events so if any resemblance to someone who knew its purely coincidental. Lastly, the images I've used throughout the story is to help us create an imaginative scenario in each page. (ctto) Hopefully it works and worth reading! can you guess which part of the story is mine? :D Enjoy! Keep smiling everyone! Be inspired :) **Kindly bare with me this is going to be a tagalog-english story. You may encounter typographical errors or wrong grammars ... my bad I haven't double checked due to time constraints Or over looked it :) thanks! ❣️🙋🏻♀️Complete
Halfway to Something
They say love is a choice. But what if the choice you made had nothing to do with love? We didn't marry because we were in love. We married because we both needed something- And each other was just... convenient. He needed a wife. I needed the money. So we signed the papers, wore the masks, and promised we wouldn't fall. But nothing about him is simple. He was the boy I loathed the most when I was twelve. Five years older, always out of reach, always one step ahead. Now, we're under the same roof, bound by the same lie. And yet, he still feels miles away. He's cold. Detached. Always in control. And I hate how effortlessly he gets under my skin. Me? I keep my thoughts sharp and my walls higher. I never let anyone see me falter. And I'm always mindful of the image I project-especially when no one's watching. And now, I'm slowly forgetting the rules we set when we said, "I do." This wasn't supposed to mean anything. But now, we're halfway into something neither of us knows how to name. And the thing about secrets? They always ask for more.
Love in Chain
The moment you begin to grasp what life truly is... is the same moment you start to feel a pain you never deserved. A torment that pierces not only the body, but your place in the world, and your very soul. But what if you had the chance to let go? What if escape was within reach? Would you dare to risk it? A risk you already know is rigged against you-one that might not bring freedom, but instead drag you deeper into danger. Yes, you broke free. But what if that escape becomes the very thing that haunts you forever? Will you see it as a blessing in disguise... or just another twisted consequence of obsession and control? Or maybe... there was never an escape at all. Maybe you were always meant to remain bound-forever chained by a love that destroys. LOVE IN CHAIN.
