Anthony Kadar is only a business-man, he's trained to market products, not run corporate espionage. When the time comes to fight for everything his friends and family hold dear, the only thing standing between him and certain death is his ability to adapt and survive. Emotions run rampant as the dystopian society Tony lives in throws down the gauntlet at every turn, but he's got more than one man's objectives at heart. So sit down and enjoy a short story/novella about love, personal loss, and heroism; but most importantly, supersonic sky-cars.

Kauri and the Heart of the Lost Age

5 parts Ongoing

The Outback is dying. Corporations bled it dry. And a koala who can't climb might be Australia's last legend. Kauri was raised by humans, but even they pity him-a koala who can't scale trees, fight, or survive the Outback's hunger. Only Old Man Walker, a scarred relic hunter, saw something more. While the world dismissed Kauri, Walker believed in him-and in the impossible dream of restoring the Outback. He spent his life chasing the Heart of the Machina, the relic that could do it. He never found it. Now, Kauri will chase that dream. One problem-AusCorp locked it away. Until someone stole it out from under them. Now, their corporate enforcers in armored business suits are torching the Outback to take it back. Even Jax, Kauri's fast-talking, bomb throwing kookaburra mentor says fighting back is suicide. Kauri could run. He could sell out like everyone else. But he won't. He'll fight-clumsily, stupidly, against impossible odds. Not to win-but because if he stops dreaming, he won't be able to live with himself. If even Australia's most harmless creature won't back down, maybe it's time to believe in yourself too.
