"Shut up you naughty girl." My mother sneered snatching me off my bed by the arm.

"We've been knocking for twenty minutes for you to turn off that devil music." My father spat

"It's not devil music!" My mother scoffed. "You are to never play that music again. Ever!"

"You can't tell me what to do!" My father steps up and backhands me. "Dad!" Jason yelled.

"Stay back son. We don't want whatever she has to affect you." my mother said.

I touched my stinging cheek, never had I ever expected him to slap me.

"Jason take yourself to the movies invite a friend, we need to teach your sister a lesson." my mother said handing him a wad of bills.

He looked at it then at me. "Take the money son, you deserve it."

I looked at him wide eyed as he took it, his eyes on me the whole time as he took it from my mother, when he left my father and mother turned to me.

I stepped back. "No, please no."

My mother stepped aside as my father stepped forward taking off his belt. "It's for your own good Akuma."

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.

"So you think I'm good looking." He said. Archie stared at him for a split second, his mouth turning up into a slight smirk before letting out a chuckle of bemusement. "Goodbye." He called before rushing down the hallway. *** The boy had been nameless for as long as he could remember, which despite being 17 years old, is only five years. He was an odd boy to try and get to know. He talked in absolutes, specifically in old English, barely ate, and the only things he seemed to love was Seattle, books, words, and the rain. Archie, on the other hand, was the son of Fred Andrews, the nameless boy's social worker. He was adventurous, different, and to the boy's surprise, cute. Archie was probably the first person the boy had ever come across that stared at him with such neutrality as he did regularly. The boy found that intriguing. Will an encounter of obvious indifference on the boy's first day at school bud into something more? *** ▶︎ ?/?/? ◼︎ ?/?/? DistressInDisguise©
