After Shayne gave up his body to Lucifer, his soul has been stuck in The Silent Realm for over a month, while back in 2018, Damien has been showing symptoms of depression. Shayne has been able to watch over Damien through a glowing orb, and he's seen Courtney help Damien with the depression,  in more ways than one. In a moment of depression and desperation, Shayne and Damien are able to talk again, in an awkward position.
