After Shayne gave up his body to Lucifer, his soul has been stuck in The Silent Realm for over a month, while back in 2018, Damien has been showing symptoms of depression. Shayne has been able to watch over Damien through a glowing orb, and he's seen Courtney help Damien with the depression, in more ways than one. In a moment of depression and desperation, Shayne and Damien are able to talk again, in an awkward position. Now able to talk to each other, the two of them try and find a way for Shayne to come home to Damien, but the way they find to bring Shayne back might change him in the process.
