The reign of terror that the human brought down on the quiet Underground brings "them" to the Last Corridor, where they encounter their last opponent... Sans.

That human had stolen everything from them. Their families and friends, their hopes and dreams... all vanquished.

But, as "they" press onward, new hope starts to rise. Reset after reset, they can't keep fighting like this. The inner-battle they were having. The battle for control.

When "they" are caught at a crossroads, "they" will pay for their actions and see the error of their ways, by how the people closest to them had antagonised their view of... her.

And so, with what little they had left, just inches away from the clutches of the Genocide ending, the monsters find themselves in new humble beginnings, whether they like it or not.

And they WILL find their glimmer of light amongst all of the darkness eventually...

(This book will be very confusing if you don't have a good understanding of Undertale. Possible ships in later chapters.)

The Underground wasn't built in a day, but it fell in one. Monster after monster turned to dust as the Human fulfilled their bloodlust. From the weakest to the strongest, from the most kindhearted pacifists to the mightiest warriors, from the queen to the superstar. Beginning to end.
