The reign of terror that the human brought down on the quiet Underground brings "them" to the Last Corridor, where they encounter their last opponent... Sans.
That human had stolen everything from them. Their families and friends, their hopes and dreams... all vanquished.
But, as "they" press onward, new hope starts to rise. Reset after reset, they can't keep fighting like this. The inner-battle they were having. The battle for control.
When "they" are caught at a crossroads, "they" will pay for their actions and see the error of their ways, by how the people closest to them had antagonised their view of... her.
And so, with what little they had left, just inches away from the clutches of the Genocide ending, the monsters find themselves in new humble beginnings, whether they like it or not.
And they WILL find their glimmer of light amongst all of the darkness eventually...
(This book will be very confusing if you don't have a good understanding of Undertale. Possible ships in later chapters.)

Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. The Underground wasn't built in a day, but it fell in one. Monster after monster turned to dust as the Human fulfilled their bloodlust. From the weakest to the strongest, from the most kindhearted pacifists to the mightiest warriors, from the queen to the superstar. Beginning to end. But in the end, the only one left who could stop the Human was the one who had nothing left to fight for. Sans' victory was an empty one. His brother was dead. TORIEL was dead. Undyne was dead. Everyone he knew was dead. Alphys' story was a similar one. When the Underground was saved, she didn't see it that way. The Underground had lost it's spark when Mettaton fell, and she had lost hers when Undyne did. In the end, it was the two weakest monsters in the Underground who were left for each other. After 3 years after Frisk flee the monsters from the Underground. She lives happily up on the surface with her new family of monsters. Well with Toriel, Asgore, Undyne, Alphys, and Flowey left to Washington D.C to meet the president. Sans and Papyrus are left to watch Frisk till Toriel returns home. Chara has plans to take control of Frisk. He wants her soul and to Reset the world again. There is however another person whom lurks beneath the shadows that Sans and Papyrus kept secret from Frisk. Now it's all going to be reveal. So many mystery to solve and secrets to uncrack. Frisk will soon have to face her fears and overcome Chara's evil plans. With the help of old and new friends. Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really?
