Martha woke up to the sun shining brightly in her eyes. The bookshelf that she had pushed in front of her door to keep her father out was still in place so she knew he hadn't tried to break in. She put a hand to her hair and sighed, she liked her new look. Thought it made her look cool. Like one of those DOB girls. Not that her father would ever understand, not like her mom did.
