"I don't even get what we're doing here? You are nothing like me!"
"Yeah, I figured. I'm a jock, and you're... a dork!"
"Oh gee, don't sugar coat it," Sara exclaimed, slamming her locker shut.
Tyler clicked his fingers in reply and pushed Sara up against the locker. From all around them, girls and boys stopped and stared, taking in what they had just seen. Was that...Tyler, the captain of the football team? And who the hell is that geek?
Tyler leant down and whispered in Sara's ear: "Girls are going crazy right now, maybe even some guys. I'm a total god here. Soooo... you better appreciate what I'm doing for you." He tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear before Sara shoved him back.
"Screw you assh*le!" she yelled, leaving Tyler open-mouthed and in surprise as she headed off to class...

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart. Megan attends college at Clemson University and she has a boyfriend, Christian, that she has been with since high school. She has the great best friend, nice apartment and car and she's a year away from her degree, but something just feels missing. Megan doesn't hate her life by any means... She's just gotten sort of bored with it, always feeling like there's something else she needs... Until she meets... Noah. She never expected to meet someone like him much less feel the sparks that ignite as soon as they meet eyes.... Can she just ignore feelings like that? Feelings she never felt before, not even from her own boyfriend. Noah won't be able to resist though, he has to do something about it... about her. Will she give in to the feelings taking over her? ---------- Excerpt: "Oh, you've been picturing me naked have you?" She asked sort of becoming amused now. Shit do I sound like a pervert? "No that's not what I mean...I just..." I tried to laugh it off hoping she wouldn't think I was a douche. She glanced inside through the sliding doors to see what looked like the girl she was dancing with earlier looking for her. When she turned back to look at me she had a look in her eyes that while I didn't know what it meant was still incredibly sexy. "Damn that's too bad... because I have been thinking about you naked since I ran into you this morning." She said confidently standing up and walking past me towards the house but not before brushing her hand across my leg. I watched her in awe as she walked back inside swinging her hips making my eyes go straight towards her ass. I sat there for a few minutes confused but extremely turned on... I couldn't lie I was definitely picturing her naked now.

"Do you know how hard it is for me knowing that you're with someone else?" Tyler asked, staring at me intensely. "You think this is easy for me?" I asked, trying to hold back my tears. "I didn't say it was -" he began, but I cut him off. "It's not. I have to go around hating myself. Hating myself for thinking about you. Hating myself for wanting you. I just want to stop feeling this way." I stepped closer to him as my voice shook with every word. "I want to forget about you, but I just--." The rest of my sentence was cut short as Tyler took the final step, closing the gap between us and brought his lips to mine. ~~~~~~~~ Tyler is back from college to find out that the girl who once held his heart has a new boyfriend.
