Hidden Secret Love

There is one window in my room. Every morning I stare outside to view the trees, flowers and birds. Loving the nature is not the main reason. The hidden reason behind this is to wait for my first love to come back.

Let me tell you a little about my past. Approximately five years ago, I went with my mother see the stars. I had a huge obsession with stars. While my mother was driving through the tunnel to get back home, I saw rocks falling down,causing some cars to stop. As I looked up, I realized that the walls and the ceiling of the tunnel cracked. Ten seconds later, my mom and I were involved in a huge car accident. The only thing I heard was the siren from an ambulance. I pulled myself out of the car with a few injuries. However, my mom was unconscious. She was bleeding a lot. I screamed for help as one of the paramedics pushed me out of the accident. Another paramedic came over to help my mother out. By the time she got out of the car, the tunnel collapsed.

I woke up and was able to tell that I was in a hospital because I could smell the disinfectant. I tried opening my eyes, but all I could see was the dark. I lifted my hands and felt my eyes. Something was wrapped around. I immediately predicted that some bad news will be informed soon. I heard foot steps coming towards me. It sounded like my dad's. "Daughter, you must have woken up.". Without thinking, I asked him about my eyes. "Dad, What happened to my eyes?" There was a long silence until he started to cry. "I'm sorry, Ellie, but you will not be able to see. You are blind" I couldn't handle myself, but I really wanted to die, just like my mother. "Dad! I want to see! You are a doctor! Can't you heal it?" From there, my life started to become miserable.
